I've found that therapy doesn't quite work for me as a detransitioned woman. Most of the therapists available either have no idea what I am or are only equipped to help people transition. It's really frustrating and I have had to deal with most things alone.
It truly is hard out there. There’s an instinct from MH ppl to either minimize the important of the experience OR to go full on “you must be borderline!”

I've never found any counsellors or therapists get me either. And they throw diagnosis and disorders around too easy. I've been told I pretty much have everything over the years and the labels don't really solve anything.
