If it’s really severe, maybe you do have some sort of (rare) allergy, have you asked a doctor?

My doctor insisted I get a pneumonia shot because I have an auto-immune disorder. It knocked me out for almost two weeks. Could have been a coincidence...

Also plan my flu shot to be followed by a quiet day. Never had a problem, just cautious....

Allergy would be my bet. Or your body goes into super protector mode. I get tired & achy after some shots.

Long shot, but do you have an egg allergy?
-
no....but i do tend to have strong inflammatory responses, like to alcohol and sugar or just stress.

I can't get flu needles either, after having two bad reactions. I'm sensitive to eggs so that could explain it. If you also have egg sensitivity just wear a mask, sanitise, stay away from sick/young/elderly, as with Coronavirus precautions

Me too! Sounds really similar. I gave up getting the shots a while back, which isn’t ideal - but I get SO unwell?

Likely, you just get a good immune response from it.
