If you live in an area where the water is poisoned, is it useful for me to judge you based on whether you get hives, diarrhea, seizures or tumors? Is it useful for me to say “enlightened, ethical people will choose to respond to the poisoned water with diarrhea.”

Misogyny is a poison that women react to in a lot of different ways. We don’t have much control over the reactions we end up with. The question I care about is where’s the non-poisoned water and how can we get it to more women?
