There’s actually nothing about existing in a female body, detrans or not, that is inherently degrading. Add men to the mix and they sure do love to find ways to make the experience degrading. But the female body exists as it is outside of what the dudes are scheming.
I continue to not get why men fixate on how shameful and humiliating they imagine they’d find being female to be. I don’t get what they get out of their projected shame. I guess it takes the edge off of the shame they’d feel for thinking about how they’re treating female people?
Pretty much. If they convince themselves that we are the most abject and wretched creatures, then their behaviour can't be said to degrade us - because we can't be brought any lower. It exonerates them.
