Nothing will make an ambitious, effective, reflective, fully grown woman feel more gender dysphoric than seeing her face or story plugged into an “our fragile, suffering daughters” storyline.

But you know, that’s the sexist world we live in and all you can really do to fight it is try to give other women a break from those sexist assumptions in your interactions. Which, let’s be real, is a pretty hard self-development project to take on.

Great points. And it helps for desisting/detrans people to remember that all the stuff projected onto you from the outside world is never going to be 100% accurate. Everyone has some kind of spin they apply to the detrans story that may not resonate or feel right for you.
