Detransition, then wrestle w/ the morality of strongly wanting to create visibility to warn others but the only way to do it is cooperate with using your real trauma and your real scars as the raw material for sensationalistic, objectifying media.

Your outrage seems out of proportion. Thomasin is very happy with the portrayal and has posted such. I would assume that the other women gave their consent on how they were to be portrayed, after all, their own words were used.

My irritation is def informed by knowing both firsthand and from on other detrans women I’ve been close to how media portrayal gone wrong has a long term disorienting and often traumatic impact on the individual.

Hello Carey. All the women wanted to take part, obviously. We were clear about the purpose of the project. They approved their photographs and their words. It was very collaborative. I hope this project is a compassionate subjectification, NOT an objectification. Best wishes.
