Ok even though @e_urq has been shockingly insulting to detransitioners lately, I can imagine why the flavor of recent coverage of detransitioners would be very triggering to trans guys- we’re aware there’s an infantilizing sexism to a lot of the “save our daughters!” stuff?

Believe me I am v concerned about teenagers making these choices. But In this culture when adolescent female ppl attempt to direct their own lives we meet them w/ “you are fragile/precious and must be handled with kid gloves” or “hey go nuts girl, this’ll be fun.”
