GC twitter has a knack for producing the most condescending replies to detransitioners. Then they are shocked, SHOCKED, you don’t appreciate strangers doling out cliches to you like you’re a 16 year old.

I get this too, and it's bizarre. IRL people tell me I come off as unemotional and competent, so it's weird when I get "oh you poor dear" responses online. I am talking about some crazy shit I used to be into, it's not that I'm about to have a mental breakdown.
