Some cognitive/emotional/perceptual experiences are a real disabling obstacle for the people having them and the most useful, kindest response is “pathologizing,” especially when there’s p consistently effective medical treatment for the condition.

There’s a funny thing happening where ppl want the protocols/training/accountability of medical treatment but without medical professionals using diagnoses. It’s the entitlement associated with consumerism, like going to a doctor/therapist is the same as shopping.
