I’m willing to believe it’s hard to access transition in some places, but I did most of my transition at a sliding-scale informed consent clinic. It was not hard to transition there—that was the whole point. Most of the patients there were poor and/or crazy. https://twitter.com/CateSpice/status/1275630510992056320 …

They’d basically prescribe you what you said you needed. (I also got Adderall and benzos there.) It seems great when you’re 23 and have not thought this all the way through.

But the only privilege necessary to access this was the privilege to go to appointments there during work hours. Flex time privilege?

Replying to @DetransT
I believe you went to the clinic I worked at and oh my gosh it was SO HARD for patients who worked to be able to schedule there! P much no middle class person could be an ongoing patient w/ how their scheduling worked.
