Having my dog die a week into Covid has been the worst. Dogs are pretty difficult to adopt right now. My home situation is in flux and disorganized enough that it gets in the way with every shelter’s adoption protocol. Really, truly, just a very sucky experience.

Try the smaller rescue places as they are often more flexible. We got 2 rescue cats a few weeks after lockdown. Fostering my be an option too.

I’m so sorry. I lost my cat in November - it completely devastated me. Hope you feel better and figure out the adoption thing soon. (It’s nice to see you back on Twitter, by the way.)
