If you relentlessly focus on interrogating gender, you will probably continue to relentlessly interrogate gender. That project will remain interesting to you until either it isn’t anymore or you die.

A concept I like: ppl get stuck on what they focus on. Sometimes ppl are stuck focusing on the external, sometimes ppl get stuck focusing on the internal. Often the work of therapy is experiments on focusing on a new aspect of experience.
