I mean I don’t even think social workers who currently work for children’s services should have to go on those home visits without extensive hand to hand combat and weapons training.

I think this is what it comes down to for a lot of ppl, the idea any other addition to the situation besides police would be better. Isn’t police training like 6 weeks? Couldn’t a social worker who was going going to be sent on 911 calls do the firearms training and stuff? I personally don’t know if that’s a good idea just a thought based on your tweet
