There are sloppy protests, ineffective protests, pointless protests, out of control protests. I will always critique the hows and whys of protests. But fundamentally as Americans WE HAVE A RIGHT TO PROTEST.

Some people robbing should not impact MY RIGHT TO PEACEFUL PROTEST. Some people destroying property should not impact MY RIGHT TO PEACEFUL PROTEST. People commit crimes, those crimes don’t walk back MY RIGHTS.

These protests have so many weird, poorly planned, aspects to critique. But at this juncture we have a president talking smack about using the military in clearly illegal ways. Idc about other people’s various strange choices. He cannot threaten to break our laws this way.
