We have a general entitlement problem in our culture. We are raising kids who can’t see all the blessings they have access to and can’t conceptualize their impact on others. 6/

It’s obviously an incredibly tricky accomplishment to pull off but if you can turn your teen onto the experience of using all their luck and blessings to create experiences of total relief for poor ppl, it will do SO much for their resilience and sanity. 7/

Also as weird as it was to feel just a lil bit like a zoo animal when the wealthy kids came to the inner city, it’s the kind of interesting experience I’m glad I got. So we were all winners, thanks Jesuits! /the end.
