My point is not that Christians are great, my point is lots of “revolutionary,” “progressive,” “oppressed” people don’t do much work on a daily basis to move money into the hands of people who need it p desperately.

One more point- I think a lot of parents, out of concern for their kids, are great at protecting their kids from being physically around poverty. So the kids get the idea the worst thing that can happen to a person is getting misgendered instead of say, going hungry.
