Trans-ness is such a convenient way for ppl whose parents paid for college to get to be victims.

Why do you think they feel a need to be victims?
I think our culture celebrates and gives attention to people’s narratives of being harmed more than we celebrate people taking on responsibility for and helping others.

Very true. My kid's only 13. I think her issues are more about having a high need for control that I have somehow created. Her brothers do not have this as teens. Her victimhood comes out when she feels lack of autonomy. Like it's intolerable on everyday things in teen life
