Not totally coherent self-disclosure: I’m always a little edgy sharing stuff about top surgery results, even when it’s someone talking about their own body, just bc it can so quickly veer into objectification of someone’s female body. I never know what the right thing to do is.

Personally, I've been talking about it because I wish I had heard more perspectives before I decided to have surgery. It's a loaded topic though, especially with people who have no experience of transition.

It’s really important for ppl to talk about their own surgeries, and especially to talk about all the different perspectives/feelings they move through about them. Really I just wish there was a different, less objectifying world to speak in!
