@TeamYouTube I’m confused. For the ability to monetize is it you need to reach both 1,000 subs and 4,000 lifetime views or is it which ever one you hit first?

Hey Andrew, the requirement is both 4000 watch time hours in past 12 months and 1000 lifetime subs. Hope this helps clarify
What about if you’re part of a network or is that still currently being worked out?

To be an affiliate channel of an MCN, it must be a part of YPP. Channels that are below this threshold will be released from the network. Once it reaches the new threshold you can re-apply for monetization.
