I just got off that call and they informed me that it's for the YouTube TV service only. To be clear, I am not using the YouTube TV service. I am using your YouTube app, which happens to be loaded on a "Roku TV" which is the name for a smart TV running the Roku OS.

Sorry for the confusion. Have you tried resetting the YouTube app on your Roku TV which mostly fixes the issue? Let us know.

And yes, the first thing I did after the reset was turn autoplay off. Going to try uninstalling and reinstalling next, though I REALLY wanted to avoid that.

Well, that seemed to fix it for about a day and a half. It just started in again.

Yikes! Please send a feedback report directly from YouTube with these steps: https://goo.gl/WdI0BK . While every individual report may not get a direct response, we do review everything and use the details to investigate and fix issues. Thanks.

That's done. However something new has been discovered since then, and it's so bizarre that I have to tell someone. Are you ready for this...?

It only happens with music performances. I've watched a bunch of content last night and this morning trying to disprove this theory and I've been unable to. Car videos, cooking shows, science stuff, all fine.

But if I watch a concert recording there appears to be a 100% chance that it will autoplay the next video. It's like it's been selectively enabled for a certain category. It's utterly bizarre and I really think it needs to be escalated. This can't just be random behavior.

Holy shit it's STILL doing it. This behavior is way too specific and repeatable to just be me. Get it fixed already.
