This is corporate welfare for RI Energy. Why forego tax revenue (which is a budget expense) so that RI Energy can rake in profits ? This is not a suspension of tax to benefit the poor - this is a public subsidy to help a large corporation maintain its excessive profit margin.

Voter lost the outside envelope for their emergency mail ballot (the one with no identifying information on it) but still has the actual ballot envelope and signed in the red box. Is the "privacy"/"mailing" envelope required for the vote to be accepted via dropbox ?

The voter also presented a government-issued medical card but was not permitted to vote by regular ballot. Only a provisional ballot was permitted. What are the laws on govt-issued medical cards ?

Issues — Capri For RI

We cannot afford to maintain our current healthcare system. In RI over the last 20 years, health care spending rose more than 250% per capita. RICHIP is the answer for lower costs and better coverage for everyone, not just those lucky enough to afford it.

The complexity & redundancy in RI’s current multiple-payer system costs millions of $$$ per year to maintain and is the major cause of underinsurance, high premiums, high deductibles, and the need for supplemental insurance. Sticking with it means we choose to pay more for less.

Co-pays and deductibles are eliminated for all medically necessary services: -hospital care -Rx -dental -vision -mental health -long-term care With the savings from RICHIP, Medicare supplementals for long-term care will no longer be needed as RICHIP will provide full coverage.
