Ooookay! Bernie caucuses with Dems. Votes Dem more than all but five or six Dems. The only thing not making him a Dem is registration. Saying Bernie isn't a Dem is fatuous. Also, he delayed conceding because they were negotiating the Dem platform. Had he conceded before they /1

had finished, his platform would have been ignored. Instead, 80% of his platform was adopted. And it was better for the party as it's becoming more liberal. Third, if you didn't follow him, you cannot say he "didn't do enough" for her as you don't know what he did or didn't do/2

I supported, campaigned for, and defend *both* Bernie and Hillary. Hillary should be our president now. This poll isn't meant to be a rehashing of the 2016 election. I just felt the need to clarify why I put Bernie in the poll since so many keep repeating the same ol' bullshit.

Having said all that, I believe it's time for a multi-party political system in this country, with Bernie heading the Democratic Socialist Party, and Steve Schmidt, Rick Wilson, David Jolly, Nicolle Wallace, and others creating a moderate conservative party. And the time is NOW!

A HUGE THANK YOU FOR THE RETWEETS AND THE VOTING, Y'ALL! I can't wait to show him!

When all we really need is a warm breathing mammal

true in some sense but dangerous assumption given all wins going forward have 2 b massive tidal waves sufficient 2 b too difficult to rig, big enough 2 overcome hostile foriegn powers & all other war being waged against democracy, voter supression, etc.. That way lies failure.
-
We need a unified voting system that looks something like this: each machine isn't connected to the internet. Fingerprints are used to verify voter ID. Each vote is cast with fingerprint. Every ballot is printed twice -- 1 for you, 1 to be counted immediately. Once tallied, /1
-
it's stamped, copied. Each machine's data is recorded onto a thumbdrive or other encrypted drive at the end of voting, and all drives and copies driven to state capital city, where electronic votes are compiled. They must match hand counts, or a recount is done. No votes are /2
-
*ever* again to be tossed out, and no votes are *ever* again to go uncounted. All absentee ballots are done either by a special form that records the person's fingerprint in a box and has a carbon form to tear for the person to keep, or by home computer with the ability to scan/3
-
a fingerprint and save a copy of the person's ballot in perpetuity. Never again will a person's voice be stolen from them by a con artist. Never again will a court steal it by tossing a group of votes. Never again will another country interfere. Never again can anyone cheat.

How come nobody is bringing up Andrew Gillum? He's pretty popular with both the prog and center of the party, young, fresh face, funny, good personality, solid positions, total package!
-
I put Beto because my bf loves him. It's why I asked for other in comments. I saw a poll tonight from Iowa. Biden has 39%, Bernie 19%, and Beto 11%. I think I was on the right track.
-
I'm sorry I don't think I was clear. I didn't mean your poll specifically, but just in general. If Beto's name is being floated I think Gillum and Stacey Abrams ought to floated too. They both got cheated imo and I think they have a lot of potential

-
You're right; they do. The difference, in my opinion, to be honest? Beto has a certain je ne c'est quoi, a Robert Kennedy-style speaking ability, cadence even, and his appeal and inspiration. He reaches the heart and makes a person want to stand up with him. He's got "it", and /1
-
that "it" is something leaders in this country have been lacking since the sixties. When I say "it", I mean he's got the ability, if he stays on track, and the power to change the world, in an even bigger way than past presidents. In ways the Kennedys and MLK and Evers were /2

robbed of doing by assassination. Oh, they made strides, for sure. But think of those men had they been given another forty years. The changes to our country! That's what people see in Beto. On a personal note, my bf is a two-tour Iraq War veteran Black man. He's inspired by Beto
-
I'm from Illinois and honestly I don't that much about him other than he ran against that slime Ted Cruz, ugh. Willie Nelson endorsed him, so he must have done something right!
-
Look up Beto's explanation for why they take a knee. Watch just five minutes of any of his rallies. You'll understand what I mean. And I think you'll be hooked too.
