The Magicians Nephew includes the line "In those days Mr Sherlock Holmes was still living in Baker Street and the Bastables were looking for treasure in the Lewisham Road." (This is a twofer, the Bastables is a reference to an E Nesbit novel)

I suppose you could interpret Sherlock Holmes and the Bastables as still being fictional in the context of Narnia, being used simply to illustrate the time period in mind. But it sounds a lot like the narrator is referring to them as if they're real.
