But at the same time, one of the largest publishers of games in the world continues to have an official policy to intentionally make thematically confused trash, then insist their games are more mature and insightful for it their nonsense view from nowhere.

And as a game critic, I continue to not know how to respond to that other than outrage. It's ludicrous on its face. It's an insult to the work of developers, critics, people touched by games - anyone who fights for this medium.
