EXCELLENT #BreakingNews: #SCOTUS says states CAN require members of the #ElectoralCollege to follow the popular vote in their state (i.e. prevent "faithless electors"). Today's ruling is the correct one—a win for democracy!

We and @IssueOneReform filed a brief urging the Court not to allow for "faithless electors." There are currently no federal ethics/transparency laws for electors; a ruling to "unbind" them would've introduced new opportunities for corruption.
