I voted in D.C.'s primary this week because my absentee ballot did not arrive weeks after it was "issued". There was no crowd for the early voting weekday, but the sidewalk outside was taped for 6-feet social distancing. However, inside the building, voting was on 2nd floor....

This meant every voter had to take the staircase or the elevator, both of which would destroy the ability to maintain social distancing. No problem for the day I went, but November could be a disaster. People could improve best practices: polling should be on ground floor.
