With a ‘signature match’ system, mail-in ballots are only counted if election officials (notably, NOT handwriting experts) decide if a voter’s signature on their ballot “matches” the one on their absentee ballot application or voter registration form.
#NewJersey’s system produces many incorrect mismatches, and voters are not given any pre-rejection notice or opportunity to fix errors.
