Federal anti-corruption laws do not apply to presidential electors. A ruling to “unbind” them from their home-state voters would introduce new opportunities for wealthy special interests to influence our politics & for electors to cast their votes in favor of the highest bidder.

If #SCOTUS allows #FaithlessElectors, we'd have to ensure that electors are subject to the same anti-corruption rules as government officials. It'd be much better for American democracy if #SCOTUS ruled against them.https://www.theatlantic.com/ideas/archive/2020/03/faithless-electors/607831/ …
