The judge said that anyone who is qualified to vote but cannot pay off outstanding legal debt "who establishes genuine inability to pay… cannot be prevented from casting a ballot and having it counted." But it's up to FL to create a process for people to prove they cannot pay.

The Florida Secretary of State must act quickly. There are local elections throughout the state on November 5 and the presidential primary election takes place in Florida in March 2020. We'll be watching.
