On Friday, a federal judge in Florida ruled that wealth discrimination has no place in voting, but only granted relief to 17 specific people.

The judge said that anyone who is qualified to vote but cannot pay off outstanding legal debt "who establishes genuine inability to pay… cannot be prevented from casting a ballot and having it counted." But it's up to FL to create a process for people to prove they cannot pay.
The Florida Secretary of State must act quickly. There are local elections throughout the state on November 5 and the presidential primary election takes place in Florida in March 2020. We'll be watching.
Maybe these lawsuits should be class action not just for certain individuals?
