This week, I felt very anxious about signing two reviews that I thought were harsh but fair. Today, I got a first round minor revision in an open-access journal for a manuscript explicitly about promoting open-science. Open-science power level over 9000

It’s one thing to see auditory evoked ISC in the visual cortex of a congenitally blind individual, but for it to be *stronger* than a blindfolded sighted person (presumably using visual imagery)!? Amazing!

Wouldn’t it be great to have tutorials for numerous advanced neuroimaging analyses such as searchlights, classifier optimization, functional alignment, etc? What if you could run these tutorials for free on your phone? Check it out

Our paper about pre-whitening problems in task fMRI studies (and how to solve them) officially out. Very relevant for single subject analyses. FSL and SPM's default method remove only small part of the autocorrelated noise. For SPM, use the FAST method! :)
