The bigger issue to me is that none of this was apparently considered by engineers. Confirmed by Silicon valley’s oft-loudly declared disregard for anything other than move fast and break things.
There's a certain amount of hysteria on this, some honest, some contrived. Should it be made clear it's an AI? Yes. Is there a debate to be had on how, and style? Yes.
