Rant of the week! 3 nights spent in some beautiful rural parts of Scotland, where hill sheep farming forms an important part of the rural economy and communities. However, not once have I seen or been offered lamb on the menu for dinner. So disappointing!

Likely(perceived) lack of demand over beef/pork/chicken; higher (perceived) cost vs the above options. It’s true lamb is not in fashion (yet!) however-huge opportunity with a good keen chef to showcase lamb dishes other than the normal lamb shank- lamb burgers, pulled lamb wraps.
