Golly, I’m shocked! @john2win and @rachael2win seemed keen to highlight the issue only the other day. I wonder why they’re so reticent now?

Cos they're lying for money?
-
Unsure what you are saying?
-
You're blaming the SNP for reserved matters, deliberately, in the hope that a big enough % of people have no idea. I believe you're picking up a healthy wage (minus the 29p a week the SNP shockingly added to pick up Tory austerity slack) hence you're being paid to lie.
-
It’s simple devolved administrations are responsible for roll out and delivering broadband where commercial providers are not operating.
-
Wrong. A misrepresentation of powers and responsibilities. It's a retained policy area. The Tory Govt set a strategy to provide 95% of population with 24M and passed implementation of scheme in Scotland, along with inadequate funding. Despite that that target will be hit.

100% - are you sure? I’m a constituent in Heriot and will hold you to that. Any pressure on affordability?
-
Not a constituent at the moment unfortunately, as I'm no longer an MP, but absolutely Sue the committment from the Scottish Government is clear. Heriot already has some planned upgrades, have you checked with digital Scotland if you're covered?

If we are headed for 100% no wonder they took it back to Westminster. The last thing they want is people telling them we have done better than England.

waiting to hear what the 100% solution is though... Trossachs stuck on 512kb at the moment. (Ack that we'd not even have that except 4 SG)
-
It'll probably end up being GFast. Full fibre or GFast are the only reasonable solutions. Satellite and 4G are costly and leave you with no options if you aren't satisfied with the service.
-
If it involves laying any sort of cable its probably a non-starter out here. We are 6 miles from the nearest fibre node at Kilmahog, 60-70 houses that are then spread over miles of hilly forested country ?pic.twitter.com/y93o9Dub4D
-
I believe they are going with the idea of running fibre cables along the existing telephone poles actually - @CalumKerrSNP comments?
