Thing that’s most disturbing is that brand Scotland ADDS value to a product. More likely to sell and often people will pay more. The areas to watch are Beef or Steak & Dairy Products - Cheese, Cream, etc... These products were proudly Scottish previously, but less so now.

Brand Britain adds value, too. Isn't it great that producers in Scotland can use both British and Scottish branding, in order to maximise sales?

but the actual origin is shown as Scotland, then I’m likely to buy it; if it’s just labelled ‘British’, I put it back -
That's up to you. I buy as local as possible and avoid Spanish greenhouse produce as the workers are treated as near-slaves.
