anyone run into a problem playblasting in Max 2018 where no matter what settings you use to export, it just makes a junk/temp AVI file instead that doesn't even open?
Yeah I have, even when I've managed to get playblasts that open the quality was so bad and looked visually corrupted :/

2018 has presented more problems than advantages. Why do they even bother -
Yeah, It's getting infuriating to the point where I've regressed back a few versions so I don't run into all the problems D: I'd just want one version of Max where CAT rigs work completely fine
