I presented some animation work a few days ago and I go asked something along the lines of "Can't I just all that stuff for free on Mixamo?" Harsh, but it has made me really look at my work and see what I can offer compared to something like Mixamo. Gotta amp things up some more.

Yeah; I believe all of it is. I was being asked (if the dude asking was an employer), why he would choose me over the free mocap stuff mixamo offers

Because mixamo's stuff at least has a limit to what it offers, people would know that you just chose Free mixamo stuff bc it's p well known how it looks now, and you can add a lot more personality to it.

I wish I said all that at the time, I just said there is a limit but I forgot to say how noticeable it is that you've used mixamo. The thing I took away from it is pretty much my work needs more personality that stands out against a default mocap animation everyone uses.
