Isn't a lot of Mixamo's stuff Mocapped?
I presented some animation work a few days ago and I go asked something along the lines of "Can't I just all that stuff for free on Mixamo?" Harsh, but it has made me really look at my work and see what I can offer compared to something like Mixamo. Gotta amp things up some more.

Yeah! I seriously just became aware of this. Kinda stings the fear string when heading into the job hunt. Just means we have to do better than the machine!

I mean if they want sliding feet, and limbs that crash through bodies they can totally go for that. Theyre really over simplifying what goes into animation. Dont let it get you down dude
