I'm a couple of years late to getting round to it, but I'm still planning on releasing a reference library for locomotion. Plan is to release a batch and slowly add to it over time with more stuff like quadrupeds and what not.
Front/Back views, high frame rate versions, graph background, centralized characters and perfectly looped clips. All not behind a paywall and accessable to students.
Further goal is to do some none locomotion stuff like basic combat, dances and anyother silly stuff I can think of
Also recording animation reference for quadrupeds is definitely not an excuse to have my friends lend me their cute pets for a bit
