In conclusion, if you want resources on veganism and nutrition and various medical issues, ask! I probably know someone who knows.

When Trump came to Tree of Life Synagogue, the only public official who would greet him was a right wing Israeli official. (1/20)

So, I'm pretty sure this means that the first use of "motherfucking" in print was used to refer to a Jewish cattle thief. Cool. (I did a quick genealogy search. Marshall Levy's father was Isaac Levy, an immigrant from Alsace.)

I don't know why this is the first time I'm seeing this thread, but OMG the brilliance of it. Read it. Share it. Most important, do not jump into my mentions to give yourself a cookie.

Was bummed to notice this as well. Hope they’ll rectify for good. Genealogy shows us how interconnected we all are. Why support someone who resents/distains immigrants and women? P.S. I’m Ancestry’s former Chief Family Historian.

Dear American Jewish hasbaraniks: lets be clear.Discussing anti-Black racism among North American Jews is not "anti-Semitic bait." anti-Semitic bait is a community hellbent on being immature&not confronting its own issues& living up to perceptions of selfishness.

As a Jewish vegan, I'm pretty much getting irritated by every side of the discussion about the kosher slaughter ban.

The delightful dancing video of AOC that is being circulated right now* is actually part of a pretty storied, if now mostly forgotten, remix culture phenomenon. If you'll allow me... -- * apparently by numbskulls incapable of joy

It’s 2019, we’ve been around this whole wokeness thing long enough to know when people are weaponizing language and concepts of liberation to cover their own asses, pursue beef, and wrongfully attack people. Let’s see thru that shit right away and give it no quarter this year

When I started using this site because Facebook was no longer enough for my ranting, angry posts, I never dreamed it would result in this high honor, this dream of dreams. But honestly, so honored to be included with such great folks. Too many to list!

THREAD: The problem with discussing is that, in the mind of the general public, there is a 2000-year blank between the death of Jesus and the Holocaust. Non-Jews tend to think of Jews as a mere prefix to Christianity.

I’m sorry, what??? The author who *literally stalked* a reviewer and drove to her house is now going to make money off of said stalking by recounting the experience in this book??

Hello, I'm a mathematician in a movie. I wear corduroy pants and a button-down blue shirt, and I spend all day writing in chalk. I am either a confirmed bachelor or I have a long-suffering wife who puts up with my absent-minded ways.

"A Jewish store, Jewish quarter, New York." A postcard, ca. 1905, in my collection. The grocer's seemingly Yiddish sign is actually English in Hebrew letters. A hardware store at left flies a US flag, while a butcher shop boasts its products are "frish yeder tog" (fresh daily).

When you start looking at a post about some foreign language's oddly specific word for something that you never thought there would be a specific word for, remember that English has a specific word for tricking people into listening to Rick Astley's "Never Gonna Give You Up".
