My heart is bursting. On the eve of my first child's birth, my dad - who's been in prison nearly my entire life - was granted clemency. He never intended harm, yet his crime devastated many families. My heart breaks for the families that can never get their loved ones back.
Then your friend is very wealthy and doesn't have to walk or take public transportation and probably has a private place to park the car. Most of us don't have those luxuries. We live with the nightmare that has been put upon us.

My friends are not wealthy. They do have a car, however. Don’t try to tell me that most of the hysteria on Twitter about crime comes from people without cars.

My kids can't go to school on Muni anymore. It's hard on our entire family. I grew up on MUNI and when my kids were in middle school they felt safe taking it. Now they don't.
