Rather than hire the firm she did, Warren could have submitted sample for testing to Ancestry or 23&Me, cheaper & with a bigger database. Her aides won't comment, which indicates to me they did do that, but the results weren't to Liz' liking.

I know... I go down to Mexico a lot, and supposedly my great, great, great grandfather was the son of the governer of Sonora. He was killed in front of his wife and children in an Arizona range war because he was accused of murdering a white guy, but he was innocent.

My friends and I joke about being distant cousins, but i'm definitely a gringo, no arguments there... And I sure as shit wouldn't claim an oppressed minority status. I tend to find that annoying in general anyway... unless someone is ACTUALLY being oppressed, actively, now.

That's smart.. I don't either. And I noticed Warren's test was *privately* done. I know family members already have... so i'm probably screwed. Look at the Golden State killer.. they got him through a distant relative. It's good that they got him, but shit is SOOO creepy now.

Although I have cousins in the US as far as I know I've no American ancestors yet there's a chance that I'm more Native American than Elizabeth Warren
