it's been done for other nominees why is it being blocked here? it's a legit argument that no one seems to be able to explain effectively

It's been explained ad nauseam but ok. 1st, FBI has already declined to investigate; that's what they said last wk. 2nd, it's not their jurisdiction-not a federal crime being accused. 3rd, b4 you say Thomas/Hill: that was fed both were fed emps w/fed jurisdiction.
-
not a criminal investigation, background.. listen to Judge Napolitano.. he laid out the process.. you're confusing the two issues
-
don't like Napolitano then listen to Ret. GOP Senator Danforth, who is pro K.. he also said same thing - committee has agreement with FBI to do background investigations but committee must order it..
-
I have no opinion on Napolitano. I'm telling you what has been reported everywhere. The FBI has already declined. IDK if SJC can compel them to open one or what, but they've already been presented with the information and declined.

ok .. here are two references https://www.mediaite.com/tv/judge-napolitano-on-fox-if-gop-rushes-vote-there-will-be-taint-on-kavanaugh-that-will-never-go-away/ … .. sen danforth.. ignore the BS headlines will just leave it here for referencehttps://youtu.be/2CRtGDM0GbA?t=8m1s …

Ok, this is a hypothetical being presented by a talking head. I still fail to see how this is not tantamount to opening an FBI investigation against someone who has already passed an FBI background check.
-
hypothetical? Danforth sat on the SJC. Napolitano concurred - the SJC can task the FBI to investigate (not criminal)

Anthony Weiner also asked the FBI to investigate his innocence, and welp, look where he is now.

The only person willing to testify under oath is the dishonest person. We all know this.
