A total zero. GOP even acknowledging this only encourages and rewards the behavior. So weak.

Your claim that the other person involved has no recollection is false. Kavanaugh's accomplice (who turned the music up) claims he has no recollection. The victim, as is more common than not, doesn't want the notoriety that comes from accusing a right wing politician.
-
And you know that for a fact? How?

The real question is, if this was made up to smear Kavanaugh, why didn’t the Democrats make up something that Republicans would find disqualifying? Assaulting a woman is barely a scandal in Republican politics. An accusation of pedophilia wouldn’t even derail this confirmation.
-
The only thing the republicans would find disqualifying is if he was a Democrat. He could be a serial killer and still be confirmed. Partisan hackery to the nth level. Party over Country.
-
I think discovering that he’d volunteered for Planned Parenthood would also get him booted. But yes, exactly.
-
Valid point.

Points generally well taken - but “other person involved “ not really good character witness, having written this:https://twitter.com/peterwaldotoo/status/1040727558239789056?s=21 …

Feinstein should be censored over this
-
For what? Accepting a letter given to her? For refusing to share it with her colleagues? For refusing to share it with the public? Or for passing it over to the FBI? Those all do sound like grave crimes.

Why not put name on it? Worked out for Anita Hill, right? It is bs that it came out after hearings concluded. But: Does the when it happened matter? Of course he denied it. Strange how republicans had a letter from 65 women from back then ready to go - kinda shows they knew.
-
The "65" letter is more telling than the accusation, just saying.
-
In that they produced it so fast or that there were 65 women that they were able to find that knew him so well in high school? That’s a lot of women - esp considering he went to an all boys school.
-
Both, actually. I consider it an admission of guilt, but I am just a small cog in the wheel. I understand it won't hold up in court as a confession (unlike so many of Donny Two Scoops tweets), but the effort it took to have that ready is astonishing!

Guess I'm ruled out for sitting on
#SCOTUS ... ... once Diane Feinstein hands over evidence from an anonymous witness who was offended when I was making the "x-x-x" sound (kiss-kiss-kiss) to make the girls laugh in kindergarten.
-
If they ever get the Valentine's cards that I gave on particular little girl, I might as well start looking for a good tree now.

Very credible, huh?
