Some of my best friends lost family members to the terror attacks on 9/11 and to this day I still get chills whenever I see video of the planes striking the towers. However, through it all America became stronger and came together in a way that I've never seen before.

It didn't matter what race, gender, religion, or political preference, there was a real sense of unity like the entire country became family. This is why I love America. Americans don't give up. We overcome obstacles and become stronger together.
