This is a no brainer. At the very least, identify the shooter in the first report and then keep them nameless from that moment on. There is no reason to keep making these people famous.

Media did it good with Charlottesville. I remember Heather Heyer and her face, but I cannot recall the name of the POS who killed her. Maybe the reporting MO for that case should be tried again.
