You know what’s ironic? A draft dodging president saying @SenJohnMcCain is not a hero because he was a POW. But I bet you don’t see it.

So the right wingers should get the water, it’s the left that is practicing fascism by trying to stop free speech.

Where’s the irony? Political affiliation not a protected class. This guy is totally within the boundaries of democracy.
-
Exactly, our benevolent overlords decided that political affiliation isn’t a protected class, therefore nothing wrong. Now, should our elite change their minds, and make pol. aff. a protected class, then this is the epitome of evil. Remember, morality stems from those in charge.
-
Benevolent overlords being the founding fathers who created the 1st Amendment, or the current gang of idiots that run every single branch of government?
-
Ah yes, I do remember how The Federalist Papers were filled with defining the ‘protected classes’, and how they designed the First Amendment exempting them from discrimination.
-
Federalist Papers didn't define child pornography either, so either you are cool with child porn, or you are cool with the fact that free speech is not an absolute right, and society has an interest in reasonable restrictions when it benefits society.
-
Why is child pornography illegal? Because the children, being underage, are not able to consent. So because of the long established tradition of holding children to a different standard, I now have to accept the recent idea of an arbitrarily created ‘protected class’?
