1. Adorable video by the @MaueKay foundation about @DSWT's work. I'm posting it in this thread in four tweets.
First clip shows the babies going from bush school, where they learn how to be
, to bedtime with their
. Also shows how much they rely on their keepers emotionally.pic.twitter.com/ObzisaUVbl

2. I love this. One of the babies throws a temper tantrum because his feeding took too long and he didn't like the stable he was in (some of the orphans get upset if they have to change bedrooms)..and you can hear one of the keepers scold him by saying "such a naughty boy!"pic.twitter.com/mi2YGPRNBH

3. In this clip you can see how much the babies love the men who are charged with raising them...their adoptive moms. It's important because when the babies are between 2-4 they're moved to the next step in reintegration (elephant college) which requires lots of trust.

4. Final Clip...The babies at
@DSWT's version of
college (which is in Tsavo national park) are kept in stockades at night for their safety. In the mornings they often find ex-orphans waiting for them..like when you were a kid and your friend waited outside your house to play.pic.twitter.com/phinm6Je1h38 replies 80 retweets 539 likesShow this thread
