I just support prison reform. I've talked mad trash about Kanye and Kim, yet I'm willing to support them if they can help bring about social change. Which they can. Why are you making a straw man of the people wanting prison reform???
-
Caleb saying "slay girl" was the funny part and the use of "qween" instead of queen
-
I understood the attempt at humor, but you clearly are serious in your criticism of people who are working with our president to do a good thing. Stop that, it's unbecoming.
-
1) don't really care what you think is "unbecoming" 2) not what I think at all but thanks for playing!
-
Ok, then I straw manned you. You haven't tweeted out several insults about the meeting though?
-
Not a single one that I know of
-
Oh, I totally got you all mixed up with
@benshapiro. He's the one being petty and unbecoming, sorry about that! - 1 more reply

I agree with your general sentiment, but there's a substantive difference between virtue signalling for the media and going to talk policy with the President personally.

I see your point, somewhat. And I have no interest in Hollywood types’ opinions. However, per your first quote - at least Kim did “act”.
@RealCandaceO summed it up well earlier, that Kim wasn’t offering a baseless opinion on stage at the Emmy’s but is doing something actionable. -
I think the point is people claim not to want to hear the views of celebrities unless those views reflect their own beliefs.
-
Well that seems far fetched seeing as prison reform SHOULD BE a bipartisan issue... So it is MY belief that when these celebrities can get outta their mansions and protected bubbles with their spouts of politics and actually ACT ON IT..all conservatives can appreciate that &them
-
Not so far fetched. The Right goes after people like Alyssa Milano and the Left goes after people like Dean Cain no matter what.

Context please context! Celebrities aimlessly talking on stage or interviews based on pushing an agenda. Very different than a personal planned meeting to discuss an issue that’s important. And Kanye is far from a God.

What I think: Celebrities are just like any other person. Sometimes they’re right, sometimes wrong. Yes, it’s annoying when their fame makes them act superior/condescending. Candace O. was right to acknowledge Kim KW’s trying to help right an injustice, & use her fame for good.

Conservatives denounce celebrities who tell others who to vote for. Kim and Kanye haven't done that
