    We cannot act like speculation isn't a significant driver in CA's housing crisis. We do need to build more *affordable housing.. but a "just build" approach that ignores WHO owns land will never will never get us closer to achieving

    And that's just capturing till 2011. We'd love to see data through 2020. Our lived experience door-knocking Oakland for the past decade, (& in all the cities we organize in for that matter), would suggest the trend remains. People are increasingly renting from LLCs, not people.
